20 China Mine Workers Killed Ascertained

BEIJING - Chinese authorities to ensure miners killed 20 people. They are included in 43 other miners trapped when a gas explosion occurred in the mine.

Based on local authorities, mines that are in the province was hit by a gas explosion Shizuang caused by friction with coal.

Miners confirmed 20 people were killed in this incident. While the rescue efforts of 23 miners was violated by the leaking of toxic gases in the mine.

"Currently 18 members rescuers still inside the mine to conduct an evacuation. But the content of toxic gas that is very high, making the evacuation process was blocked," said Chief Fire Shizuang Xiaopeng Tan told reporters on Thursday (10/11/2011).

The fateful mine, owned by a mining company swastwa Sizhuang. The company was still seeking for their miners survived.

Mine accidents in China is often times happens. Last week, 52 miners were rescued after stuck in a similar mine in Henan Province.

Earlier last month, a mine exploded in the city Lihua reportedly causing 17 people reported dead miners. When the coal mines were exploded, approximately 28 miners were known to be in a dig.

Last year, 2433 miners were reported killed in China mine. The cause of the accident itself is generally caused by negligence of the company's mines in promoting worker safety factor.
