Florida Oops! A man in the United States suffered burns on his face after a electronic cigarette is smoked exploded in his mouth. Not only that, he also lost several front teeth. There's even cut off the tongue!
It experienced horrific events of Tom Holloway from Niceville, Florida as reported by ABC News, Friday (02/17/2012). 57-year-old man was smoking cigarettes on the electronic Monday, February 13 evening local time when she suddenly heard an explosion.
He said that the explosions that sounded like firecrackers exploding in the house. She then heard her husband scream.
Fire Brigade District Officer North Bay, Butch Parker went to the house after receiving a call about the incident. It is said Parker, a defective battery in the electronic cigarette is suspected as the cause of the incident.
Parker was surprised by the incident which he said as if Holloway was put "rocket bottle in his mouth." "I've never seen anything like this before," Parker said on ABC News.
As a result of the incident, Holloway is still hospitalized. His condition was reported improved. Vietnam veterans had quit smoking two years ago and switched to electronic cigarettes to replace his old habits.
In addition to causing serious harm to the father of three children, rugs and cushions in the house also caught fire in this incident.
The electronic cigarette has become a popular recourse for many people who have quit smoking. Battery-operated tool that simulates the act of smoking a cigarette through a physical sensation, appearance and even taste.
